Adjust to new uprising issues
Introduction
Adjustment of policy or measures is required following an evaluation which has shown that progress towards the GES or that economic and social impact are not what was expected initially and calls for corrective action.
Adjustment of policy or measures is required following an evaluation which has shown that progress towards the GES or that economic and social impact are not what was expected initially and calls for corrective action.
In these cases, the adjustments required should follow in a simplified way the design and implementation process described in Steps 2,3 and 4, including specific adjustments to the monitoring programme.
Key questions
Key questions
- Given the results of the policy effectiveness evaluation (previous key action), how to design the required policy adjustment if it is not provided by automatic triggers anticipated in the design of the initial policy?
- How to build an implementation plan for policy adjustments? Project management methods can be applied; typically this involves identifying tasks and responsibilities and deadlines for completing them, and producing baseline schedules of milestones and activities. Progress against the base schedule should be reported on a regular basis.
Key actions
