The joint 25th Meeting of the Pollution Monitoring and Assessment Advisory Group (PMA AG) and 20th Meeting of the Advisory Group on Control of Pollution from Land Based Sources (LBS AG) of the Commission on the Protection of the Black Sea Against Pollution will take place from 2-3rd April, 2015 in Istanbul, Turkey under support of EMBLAS Project.

The joint PMA/LBS meeting focuses on Annual reporting to the Black Sea Commission; PMA/LBS components in the revision of Black Sea Integrated Monitoring Program (BSIMAP) and national monitoring, revision of reporting format; discussion and compilation of recommended List of GES indicators for inclusion into a regional GES Methodology, regional database for pollution; Black Sea Information System (BSIS) and Water Quality (WQ) methodology; progress with ongoing projects and participation in the new call of proposals; discussion on the progress with Black Sea Hot Spot criteria and guidelines, guidelines for riverine loads monitoring and data collection, addressing diffuse sources of pollution and other relevant issues.

PERSEUS is invited to present its activities and the deliverables it has produced so far to all meeting participants, based on the long-term and ongoing cooperation of the project with the Commission on the Protection of the Black Sea Against Pollution.
