1st Biodiversity Knowledge Conference, Brussels, BELSPO office
The first Biodiversity Knowledge conference took place from Monday May 21st (1 p.m.) through Wednesday May 23rd 2012 (1 p.m.) at Belspo (Avenue Louise) in Brussels.
The aim of the conference was to introduce and discuss broadly the approach of designing a Network of Knowledge in the area of biodiversity and ecosystem services in Europe. At the heart of it is the idea of engaging different knowledge hubs and identifying their interests when getting involved.
The focus of the conference was on identifying solutions and options for the NoK and identifying steps to create a broad community of interest with it.
