The Forum is organised by the Mediterranean Institute for Nature and Anthropos (Med-INA) and CIVILSCAPE and will take place on 26-27 May 2015, in Piraeus, Greece.
Continuing the successful initiative of CIVILSCAPE’s Marinescape Forum, last May in Bremen, Germany, this year’s Forum in Piraeus
intends to bring together a number of stakeholders from Europe and the Mediterranean fostering a dialogue towards solutions that could mitigate the current threats and challenges to coastal landscapes and marinescapes of the Mediterranean.
The Forum is expected to conclude with the Piraeus Statement on Mediterranean Marinescapes, which will consider the establishment
of a Mediterranean Marinescapes Observatory.
PERSEUS will be at the Forum in SESSION III: "Future prospects for Mediterranean marinescapes", on 27 May just after 9.30 am.
Registration for the conference will be open until 22 May 2015. Please write to Alexis Katsaros, alexis@med-ina.org for all registration queries.
