A two-day Copernicus Awareness and Training Event will be held in Lisbon, Portugal on 13-14 February 2014. The event has been designed with guidance of the European Commission. The event will provide an opportunity to learn about Copernicus and to share in users’ experience of using Copernicus data and services in the Emergency, Land, Marine and Atmosphere domains. The second day of the event will provide half-day, hands-on training workshops, where attendees can learn how to access and manipulate Copernicus data. Training sessions will be held for each domain (Land, Emergency, Atmosphere and Marine).
This event is aimed at organisations that could benefit from adoption of Copernicus services and should be attended both by decision- and policy- makers and by technical staff. The event will be conducted in English, and is open to attendees from all European countries. The event is free to attend. The event programme can be downloaded from the event website.
