EU Parliament in support of reforming the Common Fisheries Policy
The European Commission welcomed the vote of the European Parliament on the Commission's proposal for a new Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) on 6 February 2013.
With this vote the Parliament is paving the way for negotiations with the Council with a view to concluding an agreement on the new policy.
