The PERSEUS Summer School on "Supporting Monitoring in The Mediterranean Towards GES" to assist countries, to develop, design and implement an effective monitoring (both in terms of science and cost) for the needs of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD) and UNEP/MAP Ecosystem Approach (EcAp) has now been completed!

The first day of the Summer School ran smoothly and participants had the opportunity to be introduced to PERSEUS, to the monitoring in the Mediterranean under MSFD and EcAp Implementation as well a presentation on monitoring in the Black Sea. 

An Ice Breaker Reception followed in the evening of the first day and the rest of the week was busy with presentations and group sessions.
