The educational acitivities that have been taking place in the last few months under PERSEUS have now taken on a new dimension and they are expanding faster than expected. 

At the same time, the team working behind the PERSEUS@School activities submitted an abstract to the European Geosciencies Union General Assembly 2014, which is due to take place from 27 April -2 May 2014 in Vienna, Austria, and it has been accepted under the following session:  EOS7: Education for Sustainable Development and Widening Participation: Using Geoscience to Improve Communities, Convener: Jane Robb. 

This is another step towards approaching the general public and society at large, through tagreted educational and outreach activities.
