This year European Maritime Day (EMD) will take place in Bremen, Germany from 19-20 May.

The Conference and exhibitions will be held in the Congress Center Bremen and Messe Bremen, located in the middle of the city and near the main station.

EMD 2014 is devoted to innovation and maritime technologies. After all blue economy is highly valued as Europe aims in serving growth and providing jobs to its underemployed youth and also maintaining work stability for future generations.

European Maritime Day is an assembly among politicians, experts, CEOs and civil society representatives that will discuss this challenge and submit their ideas to European policy-makers.

The day before is focused to the general public! “Public Day” will take place at Weser Promenade Schlachte on 18 May 2014 from 10 am to 6 pm. It is devoted to the Bremen’s multifaceted maritime ties while a successful symbiosis of infotainment and recreational activities is displayed.
