Dr. Saskia Hommes, Master in Water Engineering and Management. She recently finished her Ph.D., which focused on the role of knowledge and actors’ perceptions in decision-making processes for complex water management issues. Recently she has been involved in projects on stakeholder participation and governance (e.g. EU FP6 Conscience), and marine spatial planning at Deltares.




Dr. Tatiana Filatova, defended her Ph.D thesis CumLaude in environmental and spatial economics with a special focus on coastal zone policy in 2009. She has 8 years of experience working on various international multidisciplinary projects funded by GEF (Global Environmental Faculty), US NSF and Dutch NWO. During her Ph.D she spent 1.5 months at Gund Institute for Ecological Economics, University of Vermont, USA. She has extensive expertise and scientific skills in environmental and spatial economics, and scenario development.
