In 2014 the Commission is getting ready for a circular economy in Europe. Therefore Green Week 2014 is focused on better waste management and ways on more efficient resources use in the EU.

During the Green Week 2014 both side events in Brussels and Satelite events across Europe are organised.

On the last day there are very interresting sessions standing out: "Marine Litter", “Closing the phosphorus cycle” and the side session "Multi-actor engagement for the environment: where science, policy and society meet, Directorate-General for Research and Innovation".
