On 26 March 2014, the Directorate General for Research and Innovation held a conference "The Ocean of Tomorrow projects: what results so far?"

This first conference presented early results of four ambitious and multi-disciplinary projects with a focus on understanding, mitigating and adapting to changes in the marine environment. Two projects dealing with the sustainable exploitation of marine biodiversity were also showcased.
