The conference organised by Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE), in association with the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the support of the European Commission, aims at bringing together the different stakeholders in the field of aquaculture. The purpose of this event was to review the current situation in the EU and identify animal health and welfare issues that need to be addressed. Further to this, it looked into the role of the veterinary profession in assuring these matters.
