The 2nd EMSEA Conference took place from 1-3 October in Gothernburg, Sweden, organised by the European Marine Science Educators Association and the Univeristy of Gothernburg. 

The EMSEA conference was a great opportunity for all marine education stakeholders to:

• share their passion for marine science education
• take part in the discussion on ocean literacy in Europe
• energize themselves with new ideas
• experience marine education in practice
• social network

PERSEUS was represented at EMSEA with a poster on promoting marine education in the Mediterranean and Black Seas, as well as two oral presentation by Dr. Alan Deidun on 'Setting up an ocean literacy hub in the southern Mediterranean' and Prof. Ahmet Kideys on 'Marine science education for primary schoolchildren – “I know and protect my seas”'.
