PERSEUS welcomed the children from the Saronikos Young Volunteers in Action group, at the HCMR premises in Anavyssos, on Wednesday 10 July. 
Sixteen children joined the PERSEUS team, and had the opportunity to learn directly from the project coordinator, Dr. E. Papathanassiou, about the project's activities and how they can get involved in the 'Citizen-Scientists' programme.
Additionally, the Marine LitterWatch application, promoted and developed by the European Environment Agency (EEA), in cooperation with PERSEUS, was shown to the group so that recordings of marine litter around the Saronikos Gulf can begin!
