Ivona Marasovic, Full research scientist. Professor of Plankton Ecology at the University. Professional experience: phytoplankton identification, primary production, harmful algal blooms, toxic species, eutrophication. Principal investigator of national and international interdisciplinary research projects. Reviewer to various scientific journals, including Estuarine, Coastal and Shelf Science. Since 1997 has been Director of Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries. National representative in IOC, IPHAB and CIESM. She is also the author or co-author of about hundred scientific papers and numerous expert papers.


Ivica Vilibic, Full research scientist. Graduated in 1994, M.Sc. in 1998, Ph.D. in 2002 in the field of physical oceanography. International projects: various FP, Interreg IIIa, bilateral (HR-USA, HR-IT), and national projects. He has published about 60 original peer-reviewed scientific papers, and has presented more than 100 communications to scientific meetings. Mladen Solic, Full research scientist. Professor of Ecology and Marine ecology at the University of Split. Professional experience: marine microbial ecology, planktonic food web, sanitary microbiology. He has published about 100 original peer-reviewed scientific papers, and has presented more than 40 communications to scientific meetings. Reviewer in various high-quality international journals, including Aquatic microbial ecology. Membership: CIESM, various international microbiology associations.
